A beautifully restored and refurbished historic six bedroom Homestead. Set on a working farm, 3kms from the main hotel complex, with sweeping mountain views.
The original structure of the Mount Sturgeon Homestead was built from local sandstone
and bluestone in the 1840s by the first owner of the property, Dr Robert Martin. Highlights of the house include the notable art collection, antique furniture and relaxed spaces; and of course, the expansive view of Mount Sturgeon itself.
The Homestead also boasts six bedrooms, formal lounge and dining rooms, sitting room, indoor carriageway and a large contemporary kitchen. The manicured lawns and gardens, vegetable garden and an orchard which houses some of the property’s original trees add to our guests experience of colonial life.
